Traveling in the age of internet
If you're traveling on business to Beijing, Cancun on a cruise, or Hawaii to learn
the hula, using the Internet is likely to make your trip less costly, more efficient
and more enjoyable. The trick is understanding where and how to look, and just
what to look for, sometimes. Millions of people made the most of the airfare
savings they find by shopping around at travel sites. However, less people have
used the Internet to study their destinations, find out what other people are
saying about those destinations, plan the specifics of their routes, check the
weather, learn the few words required to be "political" in a foreign country, and
generally take advantage of the abundance of online travel resources. Flying
around the world and flying over the Internet have something in common. Both
activities are often motivated by curiosity, the urge to explore, the need for
relaxation, the desire for learning and even profit. On top of this, in many
respects, the strategies, tricks and general methods this make these two tasks
successful and enjoyable are in fact very similar. Thus, it is a mere union between
travel and the Internet. The Internet offers much more than just a place for
travelers to make reservations. Here are some of the services which you will
